I’m honestly blown away by the response from both viewers and the film festivals. I can’t wait to create the next chapter. This film was a dream project and has allowed me to share my work on a scale that I never thought was possible!
- BRANDERSEN
Back in April of 2021, Brandon was invited to travel to Pittsburgh, PA with world renowned artist Megan Mosholder. Megan designed a 53’ site specific installation inside the Google Headquarters in Pittsburgh and Brandon was there to document the process of the team installing this massive site specific art installation. In total “Lui Na Greine” took about 45 days to complete over three trips and 60,000 feet of hand painted string.
To me “Lui Na Greine” was a way to do it, and see what happens. From the beginning, I knew that I wanted to run it through the festival circuit in an attempt to see if the story I was telling had something there that a larger more broad audience would appreciate! I believe “Lui Na Greine” has proven that.
“Lui Na Greine” is only the beginning though. Megan’s story is massive, inspirational, powerful and ultimately that’s the project that Brandon says “he wants to create”. Megan’s story is the one that pulls on the heartstrings but inspires us to push through when times get tough. It’s a story of perseverance, drive, and passion. Overcoming one of the most difficult moments of her life and showing that you can still chase your dreams and fulfill your goals. Brandon said “It’s a powerful story that I think will inspire people to go out, create art and follow your passion. Right now, where I’m at in my filmmaking journey.
